Soda Vending Machines

Vending Information current as of

Soda vending Machines today are just as varied as candy machines. You still have the more old fashioned machines in use as well as some very high tech futuristic models available. Your choices are often a little more limited in the soda world as you usually have to sign licensing agreements saying you won't sell a competing brands products in your machine. For instance you couldn't sell Coke and Pepsi items together. If you choose an off brand you may have more flexibility as they often have less strict requirements.

Soda vending caters to a different market than typical candy machines. Soda machines are bigger and more durable so they can be left outside to withstand the elements. As long as there is decent security on the premises you can feel relatively sure that your machine will be safe from harm. Damage does happen sometimes so be sure to understand the repair and warranty policies.

This is another business line that requires a high traffic area. You have the option of selling cans or bottles, some machines even dispense both. Some machines are practically an entire meal station to themselves with soda and snack items offered together.

A seperate market has recently opened up for energy drinks in addition to soda and water. The main vending catagories are bottle, can, energy, food, candy, and combo units.

To successfully run your business you want to invest in machines with low maintenance costs, and those selling products with a high profit margin. Before making a large purchase or signing a lengthy contract be sure to do your research on prices and terms in order to protect your bottom line.
